❌No mega mall in Little Tokyo and Skid Row❌

Join us at the PLUM hearing this Tuesday, May 12th at 2pm! Our neighborhoods deserve housing that actually addresses the needs of our community, not more luxury housing developments.

We as Little Tokyo and Skid Row partners are calling on everyone to do 3 things:
1. Use the Little Tokyo Community Council’s hearing toolkit to attend the PLUM hearing and give public comment AND
2. Write a letter explaining why you or your organization is against the project as it currently stands.
3. Use the Little Tokyo Community Council’s media toolkit to share about the development online.

And if you feel the need to claim that this is the “largest affordable housing development downtown” just because the project will be meeting the minimum requirement of affordability… please look up The Umeya and First Street North, two developments that are 100% affordable (with wraparound services) and actually partner with the community to ensure that the harms of gentrification and displacement are mitigated/reduced.
