JP Garcia is a surfer from Santa Barbara, California and the son of Colombian parents. His dad was afraid of the water and his mom only felt comfortable swimming in pools. Against all odds, JP didn't just become a devoted professional surfer, his surfing lessons helped many kids over the years.

Like Mary Grace, a 15-year old multi-talented teenager who was the victim of a strange disease that completely paralyzed her body. That is when she met JP Garcia and started surfing constantly. They are both an example of how bonding in nature can help anyone power through any obstacles!
