The ‘75 film Three Days of the Condor with Redford and Dunaway was the inspiration for this 70’s vintage look taken the same day at the historic Lavetta Terrace stairs in Echo Park. For me, anytime I can integrate a vintage pea coat it takes me to this film. Directed by Sydney Pollack it’s worth seeing. Jade .a.christensen and I had the best time with our seventies vintage photoshoots before and after opening Look. .vintage We were non stop, it was fun! These seventies pieces landed at Look Vintage. From a seventies vintage photoshoot Jade .a.christensen & I had done with Jenny right before opening .vintage Burrito King being one of the the last stops. We were all over LA that day. Had to tribute Graham…at that landmark location. Probably ate there after as it was the end of the day and always fun. Echo Park is my home. What is happening here is very sad with developers taking over for their boring, homogenized, empty buildings that stay empty forever. No one wants them. People are loosing their livelihoods and their homes due to these developers and it keeps happening. We were an incredible, tight knit community with so much music, art, and fashion. People had a point of view. We supported each other. We had a quality of life and the freedom to accomplish what we wanted to do and not just survive. It was really beautiful and paradise for myself and so many.
