I’ve always been fascinated by pinhole photography. It reveals another perspective of reality - unmanipulated, perhaps closer to the world as it really is. I dusted off my kit and snapped this of the late afternoon sun through a tree in the backyard. I wonder if perhaps this is how an insect might see the world.

I road-tripped to a few key places from my new manuscript before the final polish.
Revisiting them after writing lets me see these places through my characters’ eyes.
I didn’t know them before—but now I do, and I can experience the world as they would. Anyone else ever do this?
