A floral half-drop repeat I am playing around with.

Last week my friend Jeanette passed away suddenly from a heart condition. We worked along side each other at the LA Times. Every moment working with her was joy. She loved plants and bugs and everything growing. And she loved people. She was encouraging in all of our collaborations and took the time to stop by my studio and talk on the phone. I could text her photos of my ailing plants and she would tell me how to care for them. I’m going to miss her. She brought a lot of joy to this world.
