Summer nights and the Strawberry Moon. ππ
The Full Strawberry Moon reaches its peak on June 29, 2026βone of the most beautiful celestial sights of the year!
Despite its name, it won't actually look like a giant strawberry. Instead, it often takes on a beautiful golden or amber glow as it rises low on the horizon. This year it's also a "micromoon," appearing slightly smaller as it reaches its farthest point from Earth.
Its name comes from Native American traditions marking the time when wild strawberries are ripe for the harvest.
This yearβs moon is extra specialβit's the last "micromoon" of 2026!
Don't miss this beautiful summer glow! π
