U.S. President Donald Trump said Friday that he is heading to the White House Situation Room to make a final decision on a possible agreement with Iran. According to Trump, parts of the proposed deal have already been agreed upon, but key conditions must still be met.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said Iran must permanently agree never to develop or possess a nuclear weapon. He also demanded the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz for unrestricted shipping traffic in both directions.

Trump claimed that sea mines in the strategic waterway are being removed and that the U.S. naval blockade would soon be lifted. He further stated that Iran’s enriched nuclear material would be secured by the United States.

Iran has not yet publicly confirmed that a final agreement has been reached.
