✨ Intern Spotlight! ✨

Meet Valarie H. from Orthopaedic Hospital Medical Magnet HS and Jamie Martinez from Downtown Business Magnet High School, two rising seniors gaining real-world experience through their internships with the Los Angeles Unified School District Division of Communications, Engagement & Collaboration.

This summer, Valarie and Jamie are supporting districtwide initiatives by preparing documents, materials, and posters for the Superintendent’s Opening of School Address. They’ll also have the opportunity to attend the event, gaining valuable firsthand experience in communications, collaboration, and event planning.

Through CTE-Linked Learning L.A. internships, students connect classroom learning with meaningful workplace experiences that help prepare them for future college and career success.
