Did you say 2016?! I think it was my peak “hair year” - after a couple years of experimenting with fun hair colors…I had my biggest collaboration with L’Oreal (colorisata line). One evening I got an email (which I thought was fake) and the next morning I was flying to Paris to shoot the campaign (it launched in 2018). I also started collaborating with Pravana and did the coolest summer ombré. One random evening while testing new lighting/camera equipment we shot a “glow in the dark” makeup look (no plan just testing equipment…tipsy). As/if saw and hired me to recreate it, and to my surprise it went viral. Just one of those happy accidents. I also worked with Refinery 29, attended to Beautycon London, full send with very heavy/aesthetic IG layout, even more hair colors, did a stint moving to Palm Springs, and went to a movie premiere and took this Getty photo that still haunts my IMBD. Life looks very different now, but good different. I do miss the fun hair 🌈
