CASTING CALL: DANO Network is seeking Cast for independent feature film SLUSH scheduled to film in Houston/Waller in June. Synopsis: SLUSH is a high-intensity action/sci-fi thriller set in Houston, Texas, where a private defense group (VAD) is deployed to contain a covert bioweapon outbreak during a catastrophic storm. As the situation escalates, the team encounters a violent underground threat, forcing elite operatives and civilians to fight for survival in both residential environments and subterranean tunnels. The film blends grounded tactical realism with cinematic horror and physically driven action sequences. Cast Needed: Athletic female (18–25) – stunt-capable (Licia White type); Athletic female (18–30) – movement-based performer (Lina White type); Male (18–30) – supporting roles (David/Jack White types); Male (25–40) – strong presence, authentic Jamaican accent required (Errol type); Female (35–60) – strong presence, authentic Jamaican accent required (Mrs. Miana type); Male/Female (20–50) – physically fit tactical roles (VAD operatives, guards – 5’11”+ preferred); Male/Female (20–50) – antagonist roles (Ashfall operatives).
