The lower bedroom level serves as a secondary gathering space centered around a family room with built-in wood shelving and integrated storage beneath the stair. A library and office area sit adjacent, enclosed by reeded-glass sliding doors that create a more quiet, focused environment when needed.

Custom millwork anchors the second-floor loft at the Keogh Residence through a built-in media console designed with both storage and everyday use in mind. Integrated cabinetry provides concealed storage below, while larger side shelves create space for speakers and display pieces around the central television opening. Paired with warm wood tones throughout, the loft becomes a quieter space to unwind above the main living areas.

The family’s lifestyle naturally revolves around food, so the kitchen became the true center of the home, while prioritizing function. Accessed through sliding doors, it was designed to either open up to the dining and living spaces or close off when needed during larger family cooking days. One of our favorite details is the reimagined built-in breakfast nook, where a cozy U-shaped bench creates an easy spot for everyday meals, slow mornings, and the informal gatherings that happen throughout the day.
