Warriors 🗣️ we did it.
The inaugural BUILDing Youthful Warriors event was a tremendous success, and a powerful reflection of what is possible when a community comes together with a shared commitment to developing the next generation of leaders.
The event brought together youth, families, credible messengers, community leaders, violence prevention practitioners, public safety partners, and local organizations for a full day focused on leadership development, conflict resolution, mentorship, emotional intelligence, workforce development, and community engagement. Participants walked out with practical tools, meaningful connections, and a renewed sense of purpose and responsibility to their communities.
This day would not have been possible without the foundation the Commander built. His vision, alongside the vision of the team carrying this work forward, created the framework for what happened in the room.

BUILDing Youthful Warriors is THIS Saturday, June 27.
An introduction to BUILD-PCITI Level 1, open to the public and designed for young people ages 12 through 27 who are ready to develop the discipline, the leadership, and the awareness this work demands. This is where the journey from influence to impact begins.
Grounded in community violence intervention and prevention, this program puts the tools, the structure, and the training in the hands of the next generation so they can take the lead on what belongs to them.
The next 10, 15 years of this society will be defined by the youth standing up right now. The question is whether the young person in your life will be in the room. 🫱🏼🫲🏽
