To be frank, I didn’t know much about Tarzana, and that’s one of the reasons I chose this property for the tour.

First off, I actually had no idea the neighborhood was named after the Tarzan franchise, which is kind of cool. Beyond Ventura Boulevard, there’s a whole other side of Tarzana tucked into the canyons of the Santa Monica Mountains. Between the open view corridors, dramatic canyon setting, golf course, and the fact that this happens to be one of the largest and most expensive homes currently for sale in the area, it felt like a property worth exploring.

As usual, I toured every room and feature of the home, but in this episode I also dive into hillside construction and what it actually takes to build into this kind of terrain.

The property faces Mulholland Hills Country Club, and what I saw there was certainly not what I expected.
