Brody is finally finding his footing and, he’s developing his personality and his mama does good letting us handle him

We recently welcomed the first calf of 2026 at our farm, an Angus heifer born to a Simmental heifer, and fortunately, the calving process was smooth. Although she is a conveniently sized calf, her breeding suggests that size will not be an issue. We anticipate that she will mature into a productive cow.

To be transparent, I was preoccupied with other commitments last week and unable to post about the silage. I was only present for the mowing before departing for Portugal to attend a hen party. The reseed performed well, whereas the old ground did not fare as well (but we won't discuss that 😅)
