A gorilla named Kiyomasa at a Japanese zoo had a fight with his mate. Then he sat alone on a rock, chin in hand, staring into the distance. π¦π
The 13-year-old gorilla at Higashiyama Zoo in Nagoya looked exactly like someone replaying an argument in their head three hours too late.
The internet had plenty to say:
π "This is me after taking a joke too far with my wife."
π "He's finally coming up with the winning argument... 3 hours too late."
Fortunately, zookeepers say Kiyomasa and his mate have since reconciled.
Whether that involved a heartfelt apology, a banana, or simply pretending nothing happened remains unknown.
But one thing is clear: No matter the species, we've all had that "rock after the argument" moment. π

A man ordered pizza from Domino's almost every night for 10 years. When he suddenly stopped for 11 days, the staff got worried and saved his life. πβ€οΈ
Kirk Alexander, 48, had serious health issues and rarely left his home in Salem, Oregon. His daily pizza orders were so consistent that the store manager, Sarah Fuller, and her team knew him well.
So when his orders stopped appearing on their screen, they noticed.
Fuller checked the system it had been 11 days since his last order. She sent a driver, Tracey Hamblen, to check on him.
When Hamblen arrived, the lights and TV were on, but no one answered the door. He called police.
Inside, officers found Alexander on the floor, in need of urgent medical attention. He was rushed to the hospital.
"He's just an important customer that's part of our family here at Domino's," Fuller said. "We felt like we needed to do something."
Would someone notice if you suddenly disappeared from your daily routine? π

After six years of battling stage 4 cancer, Brett Yancey refused to miss his daughter's homecoming crowning even carrying his oxygen tank and turning down a golf cart. ππ
Just days earlier, he had suffered a seizure and partial paralysis. His left leg barely worked. But when his daughter Chloe was named homecoming queen at Lancaster High School in Ohio, he told her: "I'm going to walk my baby across that field."
With a custom cane in one hand, his oxygen tank in the other, and his daughter by his side, he slowly walked 50 yards across the football field surrounded by a standing ovation from thousands.
"I told you, Chloe. I made it. Queen or not, you are always my queen."
Two weeks later, on October 11, 2024, Brett passed away at age 51.
Chloe later said: "It was supposed to be one of the happiest nights of my life, but it also became the most heartbreaking. I watched my dad struggle to breathe, struggling to walk, and I couldn't stop crying."
She laid her crown beside his casket. β€οΈ

Post Malone turned a $1 check into a lifeβchanging Christmas gift. β€οΈ
On Christmas Eve, he walked into The Railyard bar in Houston. His drinks had already been paid for by other customers, so he asked the waitress, Renee Brown, to charge him just $ just so he could leave a tip.
Then he left $20,000.
Renee, a single mother working two jobs, later said the money helped her catch up on rent, buy a car (she hadn't owned one for two years), and save for her daughter's future.
No announcement. No publicity stunt. Just one person quietly changing another's life when she needed it most.
A $1 check. A $20,000 tip. A Christmas Eve Renee will never forget. π
