Introducing: Healing All Wounds “Time” 🩵
A day before Sijan was going to be let go to rest, one of my friends gave me this puppy. She was the crazy one of the litter and needed an active home. At the time I wasn’t sure that I even wanted to take her, especially with the news I had just received about losing Sijan the next day. I agreed to foster her for a little and if it was too much then I’d return her.
The next day came. As I was taking Sijan out for his final play before we went to the vet, despite being disoriented and in pain, he pulled me over to her kennel. Time poked her nose out through the kennel and Si gave her a kiss. At that point I knew I had to at least give this a chance. I think he knew and told her “it’s your turn to look after her.”
The next week came and went, she was the perfect puppy. I couldn’t have asked for an easier one. Gomez my foster dog was being adopted. As his new owner was walking away to get in her car, she stopped, turned around and said one word “Time.” It took me off guard, I asked “what?” She repeated “Time. Time will heal all wounds.” At that moment I knew that was going to be my puppy’s name “Time”
A little bit about her: Time is an Australian shepherd mix. I picked her up at 9 weeks and she’s now 4 months old. She is incredibly smart, confident, loves water, and is the sweetest girl. She made friends with everyone right away like she had always lived here and took up travel life like it was her calling.
I’m excited to see what the future holds for us together 🩵 Time will only tell
