Now that the celebration has ended and the days have slowed again. Here’s to another year.✨

Looking back at these photos, I wish I could tell little me what I know now. This year has been challenging. The loss of my great grandmother, my grandfather and my family dog, took a toll on me. I try to recognize the duality of life, as I reminisce on the wonderful moments of this past year too. I saw a quote that spoke to me a lot this year, “I am a museum of all the things I’ve loved.” And boy have I learned that to be true.

If there’s anything else I’ve truly learned this year it’s that time is not promised. Nothing is guaranteed, especially time. Life is too short to do things you hate. Or to do things that make you unhappy. Life is too short to not love on your people, family and friends alike. Life is too short not to go on that trip or chase that dream. You have time, but it’s not guaranteed, so my advice is Hug and kiss your family and friends, follow your dreams, you must make the most of life every chance you get. 💕✨

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my first little sister! Born exactly 10 years apart minus a day. When you came into this world I was just so amazed by you. Your little hands and feet and beautiful blue eyes stole my heart from day one! You bring laughter, silliness and joy into our lives. Now you are all grown up and sharing that gift and love through your faith and service. I am inspired by your confidence, hard work and compassion daily. You have a heart of gold and I cannot wait to see what this next year has in store for you sweet girl!

My dad♥️ Happy birthday to the man that showed me what love means. The man who raised me and cared for me with every inch of his soul. Dad, there are no words that could ever amount to the love I have for you. You’ve show me what family means and you and created such a wonderful one for us. You made my life as beautiful as you ever could with the time we had growing up. You show me what strength, compassion and hard work looks like. You inspire me to be the best person I can be and for all of that I am forever grateful. I love you so much!
