Midsummer Maker

Hi, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted.

Honestly I haven’t been around much due to some big life changes, like moving across the country. I haven’t been as creative as I would like and it’s been driving me crazy.

My art will have to change (due to the access of materials I have) and I suppose that’s the life of an artist, always adapting. But sometimes it sucks because just when I get use to something I’m either too tired, overloaded, or I’ve given up (because of my insane perfection standards). And I know all of this is shaping me into the more complex artist I’m suppose to be but inside it’s a bit of a nightmare because I feel like I have nothing to show for it. So as of now, I may not be producing art but I am taking things in. I’m absorbing my new surroundings and experiencing life as it happens to be and the people around me. Hopefully soon I will return to creating something, please don’t give up on me. Until then, I must still remind myself that even though I’m not making things now I still am and will always be an artist. (No matter what those pesky inner thoughts say).
