The Story of the Lilac Box

On June 10th, while in my morning meditating, I felt an intense urge to explore a particular area in the basement and check an area I hadn't looked at in seven years. I hadn’t opened these drawers since 2017, and the message kept repeating in my mind throughout the day. However, the day got busy, and I couldn't make it. Knowing the importance of following such intuitions, I decided to go today on June 12th.

So this morning, I went to the basement, eager to uncover the reason behind the persistent message. After moving several chests of drawers, I remembered where I had hidden the key. I retrieved the key and opened one of the drawers, revealing a surprise! A beautiful unopened small gift box wrapped in lilac paper with a lilac ribbon.

Inside, I found a beautiful Misaka lilac colored porcelain box, hand-painted and made in Japan. It was a touching moment as I felt a connection to my mother. Alongside the box, I discovered some of her costume jewelry, featuring purple stones and roses, which were among my favorites.

This experience was especially meaningful because lilac and purple are associated with the 33rd anniversary, making it feel like a special message from her. This reinforced my belief in the guidance and protection of ancestors. When we listen to our intuitions and follow the signs, wisdom and treasures await us.
