Congratulations South County Little League!

🥎 SCLL Wins the Carl E. Stotz Award! 🥎

We’re beyond proud to share that South County Little League has been awarded the Carl E. Stotz Award, presented to just ONE Little League in the country each year, in recognition of our incredible growth in softball!

The award was presented by Ashlea Miller, Director of Softball Development for Little League International, at the 2026 9-10-11 Virginia State Softball Tournament. President Chris Cashman and Softball Commissioner Jim Hull proudly accepted on behalf of the entire SCLL community, along with a $5,000 grant to continue growing the sport.

This recognition is a direct result of our league’s Strategic Plan, and we are so grateful it helped turn our goal of building and growing softball at SCLL into a reality. 💛

None of this happens without our village. Huge thanks to every volunteer, coach, family, and player who has poured time and heart into supporting our girls in sport.

Here’s to continuing to grow the game! 🥎🏆

Please be safe and stay indoors if you can

HAZARDOUS AIR QUALITY

The air is thick with wildfire smoke in our region, creating health risks when you're outside.
Do not stay outside for extended periods.

• Sensitive groups: Avoid all physical activity outdoors. Reschedule to a time when air quality is better or move activities indoors.
• Everyone else: Avoid long or intense activities. Consider rescheduling or moving activities indoors.

Here is the air quality page for your zip code : http://spr.ly/6181BEjhKH

NOTE: Due to frequent rotation of gate guards to protect their health, some lines may be longer than normal.
