Flower Farm

Sadly, we lost the beloved giant willow that has graced the Cafe gardens for many years. It was rotten to the core and if it fell, it could have been deadly. It was a sad day for us all, but please understand we removed this tree with everyone’s safety in mind.

Some good news: John knew the day was coming when the giant willow would become unsafe. Each year, he's taken cuttings from the old willow and planted them near the pond. Now that the big willow is gone, the small trees will grow quickly.

We hope to see you at the Flower Farm sometime soon, When you visit next, please take a moment to pay your respects to the grandfather willow that shaded us so well fo many years.
And please notice the many small willows along the pond that will do the same in the summers to come.
