These 5 small habits have made me feel so much better...
Mom to mom, if I was trying to quietly upgrade home, this is where I’d start:
1️⃣ started making my bed every morning immediately after I get out of it.
→ I grew up hating making my bed and when I became an adult I thought “why, it didn’t matter. I get back in it in tonight.” Now I know science studies show you are more productive, it tells your brain you can complete tasks, and makes me feel accomplished especially as a busy mom.
2️⃣ Scheduled my robot vacuum like it’s my coworker
→ Floors stay clean without me even remembering it’s happening.
3️⃣ Built simple routines & automations for everything
→ I stopped relying on memory and created a home that runs on autopilot. No more brain fog, invisible mental load, less resentment.
4️⃣ Do one load of laundry — start to finish — daily
→ It’s a routine I’ll never stop doing.
5️⃣ Started doing two 10-minute reset a day
→ I used to think I needed hours to clean. Turns out, 20 minutes consistently racing the clock with a large visual timer, beats 3 hours occasionally.
