Today we celebrate 250 years of a nation built on the foundation of freedom 🇺🇸

Among the many freedoms we are grateful for, one stands above the rest: the freedom to worship and praise the God who is worthy of it all. On this day, we are reminded that true freedom was purchased not by the founding fathers, but by our Heavenly Father.

So today we celebrate, we gather, we give thanks, not just for a nation, but for the God who holds it in His hands.

"Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." 2 Corinthians 3:17

What does the Father actually give back to His children?

In the parable of the prodigal son, the Father doesn't just welcome his son home; He restores him. Four specific gifts mark that restoration, and each one points to something Christ has already given us.

None of it was earned. All of it was given.
