One of our members is having a lot of fun working on his skills turning bowls. This was a quick small one he turned the other night. The wood is from a tree that fell in his back yard after the last hurricane. We aren't sure what kind of wood it is but the spalting and grain is amazing looking. It was finished with Tried and True Original to keep a good original look but highlight the spalting and grain features. The design is plain to allow the focus to be on the grain.
