[LYMLIGHT PRODUCTIONS TO MOUNT The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee]

LONGWOOD, FL. On April 9th, 10th, and 11th at 7:00 pm in the Lyman High School Auditorium: 865 S Ronald Reagan Blvd, Longwood, FL 32750, Lymlight Productions, the Resident Theatre Company at Lyman High School, will present The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, a musical with Music and Lyrics by William Finn, Book by Rachel Sheinkin, Conceived by Rebecca Feldman, and with additional material by Jay Reiss.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a musical comedy about adolescence and those awkward teen years. Spellers of unique backgrounds come to Putnam County to compete in the 25th Annual Spelling Bee. One by one, the spellers are eliminated by the “ding” of the bell. As they move through words and create life lasting bonds, they learn to grow past their insecurities of childhood.
