Next Thursday, July 16th, is the last day to drop a summer quarter class without receiving a "W" on your transcript.
August 16th is the last day to withdraw from a summer quarter class and receive a "W" on your transcript.
After August 16th, you cannot drop a summer quarter class.
Running start students must submit an add/drop form located in their RS canvas group or on the LCC Running Start website.

πβ¨ Senior Spotlight: Makenzie Henthorn β¨π
Congratulations to Running Start student Makenzie Henthorn on an incredible achievement! This spring, Makenzie will graduate from Mark Morris High School with her high school diploma and from Lower Columbia College with her Associate of Arts Direct Transfer Agreement (AA-DTA) degree.
This fall, Makenzie will continue her academic and athletic journey at the University of Montana, where she plans to major in Biology and has earned a softball athletic scholarship.
During her time at LCC, Makenzie consistently demonstrated excellence in the classroom, earning a place on the President's List and the Dean's List multiple times. Outside of academics, she spent all four years playing high school softball and also competed in tournament softball.
When she's not on the field, Makenzie enjoys softball, baking, and surfing.
π Makenzie would like to thank her parents "for their constant support and pushing me to better myself every day."

π Senior Spotlight: Bode Davis π
Join us in celebrating Bode Davis on his outstanding accomplishments!
Bode will graduate from Toutle Lake High School with his high school diploma while also earning his Associate of Arts degree from Lower Columbia College through the Running Start program.
After graduation, Bode plans to attend the University of Washington School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences, where he will major in Aquatic Conservation and Ecology. His hard work and dedication have earned him scholarships from the University of Washington, the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and Oregon State University.ππ£
Throughout high school and college, Bode has been recognized for his academic excellence, earning a place on the LCC Presidentβs List, LCC Deanβs List, and the Toutle Lake High School Honor Roll. Beyond the classroom, he was named Student Angler of the Year twice at Mt. St. Helens.
Bode has also worked full-time for Daveβs Guide Service as a deckhand for the past two years, combining his passion for fishing with valuable hands-on experience. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and playing guitar.πΆ π΅
Bode would like to thank his parents, sister, mentors, and Running Start advisor Maggie for their support and encouragement throughout his journey.
