Longview Baseball

It was a great weekend to start the tournament season! Thanks for hosting Castle Rock Toutle Lake Youth Baseball! Our 12u group battled the CR/TL 12's for the Championship, but lost in a slugfest. And our 8u team took 2nd to a really good 8u Kelso squad. Our 8u boys improved each and every game and put up 59 runs over 4 games. The teams all fought hard, played with good sportsmanship, and learned a lot!

Games at John Null are canceled for tonight, 5/15. Our fields are currently holding too much water.

We are currently talking about tomorrow and assessing the weather and options. It does not look promising that closing ceremonies or games will happen tomorrow. We will have further information regarding the final decision later tonight, or possibly early in the morning. Weather forecasts show consistent rain throughout the day, night, and through tomorrow afternoon.
