Expansion of Team! ⚖️🧡⭐️

We are so excited to announce that Grace Moreland has recently joined our team as a full-time Staff Attorney. She began work for the Foundation as an intern in 2023 and worked with Merel for two summers before graduating The University of Texas School of Law in 2025 and passing the Texas Bar Exam. Grace is able to work with us through a fellowship from UT Law ⚖️

Her commitment to our cause is incredibly strong and we can’t wait to see what she can accomplish with the Foundation. Welcome, Grace! ✨

❗️BREAKING NEWS ❗️

Going Home After FORTY YEARS. For a burglary.

In 1986, Gary was convicted of burglary and sentenced to LIFE.

Now, in 2026, he has spent 40 years in prison.

Forty birthdays. 💔
Forty Christmases. 💔
Four decades of his life. 💔

Our team at the Clinton Young Foundation has been working behind the scenes on Gary’s case for over a year — digging through records, preparing mitigation, advocating for relief, and pushing for a second look at a sentence that simply does not fit the crime.

Several weeks ago, we had a hearing where we argued why Gary should be released early.

And we are grateful to share: that request was just granted! ⚖️🙌🏼

Gary is now 64 years old.

This is not the end of his case. He has not yet been found innocent, and we will continue fighting to clear his name. But this is a major step toward bringing him home after four decades.

None of this happens without your support. Your donations, your shares, your belief in second chances: it all matters.

In the coming days, we’ll share updates about Gary’s release and ways you can help him transition home — including an Amazon Wishlist to help him rebuild after 40 years behind bars.

Thank you for standing with us. This is what hope looks like. 🧡💪🏼
