Pop Watch

Nan one time stayed with Pop an entire month in the hospital in Dallas when he was undergoing a procedure. Slept in a chair right beside him.

I remember when I went up there to "relieve" Nan, hoping she would take our advice and go back home with Billy so she could sleep in her own bed comfortably and I would stay there.

Pop would tell me "she watches her soap operas and the weather and talks while I'm asleep.. so see what you can do to get her home. "

Well...we couldn't convince Nan to leave to go home but we did manage to get her to leave the hospital for a bite to eat for a few hours.

Upon getting her out the door I looked back and grabbed this shot of Pop...laying in the hospital bed.

He said quietly....."drive slow" 😆
