He Chose Me

Some of you aren’t tired…
You’re stretched.
There’s a difference.
Tired = rest fixes it
Stretched = growth requires it
God isn’t breaking you.
He’s expanding you.

Be honest…
Have you ever questioned why God chose you?
Because what He gave you to carry…
doesn’t feel light.
But calling was never meant to be easy.
It was meant to be purposeful.
Drop “ME”

God didn’t choose you because you were ready.
He chose you because you were willing.
Stop waiting to feel prepared
for what requires obedience.
You don’t grow into calling by waiting…
You grow into it by moving.

🌈 Why did God choose me for a journey filled with trauma? 🤔 As I reflect on my experiences of physical, mental, emotional, verbal, and spiritual abuse, I find myself wrestling with this question. How can a loving God allow such suffering, especially during the vulnerable stages of childhood?
It's a thought that can cloud your mind and soul, right? I mean, if God is all-loving and all-knowing, why would He permit one of His creations to endure such pain? Was I meant to be a lesson for someone else? Or maybe, just maybe, the purpose goes beyond what I can see right now?
I've spent years trying to make sense of it all, and, honestly, I still struggle. On good days, I think that perhaps my experiences are part of a larger plan—something that could lead to healing not just for me, but for others who identify with similar struggles. But on tough days, it feels more like a random twist of fate, a cosmic joke that leaves me feeling isolated and questioning my worth. 😔
What are your thoughts on this? Have you ever found yourself asking why you’ve faced hardships in your life? How did you come to terms with it? I’d love to hear from you! Sharing our stories can be a powerful way to find understanding and community.
Some people find solace in their faith, believing that God is with them through their darkest moments. Others lean more towards the idea that we are given challenges to strengthen us, to shape our resilience. 🔍 But, could this really be true in the case of suffering endured during childhood?
Life can feel overwhelming, and these questions don’t always have easy answers. That's why I'm reaching out—to start a conversation, to explore these feelings together. Understanding and healing often come when we share our burdens, don’t you think?
Let's connect and support each other. 💜 If you’ve found meaning or peace in your own experiences, I’d love to hear your insights!
