This is an early Hamilton Beach, model 5. In this 1918 photo of a Confectionery, how many mixers can you find?
What was unique about the model 5 and those before it, was that when you wanted to make a malt, the cup sits on the stone base and the head moves down in order for the mixer to start.
This mixer at over 105 years old still works. 😲🌟

😎👍🏻 Line them up. These porcelain covered cast-iron mixers from Hamilton Beach were built to keep making malts and milkshakes.  All of these started production in 1940. 😳
