Thank you for showing up, Boston! 💘
We had such a fun time card-writing for seniors at the life alive cafe in Cambridge, cohosted with ❤️
These cards will be given to St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham, MA.

We get this question a lot, so we wanted to explain it clearly 💌

Right now, we ask organizers to help identify local nursing homes and assisted living communities in their area before delivering cards. This step matters because every facility is different. Some require advance approval, some have specific drop off guidelines, and others may already be overwhelmed with donations. Reaching out ahead of time ensures that cards are welcomed, delivered respectfully, and truly bring joy to the seniors who receive them.

Local outreach also allows us to stay personal. A quick phone call to an activities or life enrichment director helps make sure the right number of cards are delivered to the right place, at the right time. It’s a small step that makes a big difference in honoring the people we’re trying to serve.

As we continue to grow, our long-term hope is to build stronger systems and partnerships that make this process easier. That includes a robust public facing facility database, clearer regional connections, and national partnerships that help streamline deliveries at scale.

For now, this community makes it possible. Every organizer who takes this extra step helps us stay thoughtful, respectful, and human as we grow.

Thank you for being part of the love 🤍
