We have gotten a bit of a boom in business, and I am currently booked out with making orders/products until the 24th of this month! While this is great news, this also means if you have any products needing to be filled relatively soon please let us know asap so we can get you on the calendar!

If you are needing a product sooner rather than later, don't panic yet! Your product may already be on the calendar due to another customer order, and SOME products could be switched around to different days!

If your product is not on the calendar, please send us a pm and we can try to figure something out! I can do rush orders for a $20 rush fee, but rush orders are difficult to squeeze in as products typically (and surprisingly to most "laypeople"!) take 3-7 hours to make depending on product and batch size (magnesium lotion typically takes 10 hours for a 40 ounce batch!!! 🤯). With me (Baily) having fibromyalgia and being the only formulator who can make the products, this makes it pretty difficult and hard on my body to squeeze in other product(s) on most days due to the time and physical labor required.

Introducing the B Natural Blends "Mighty Magnesium Lotion"! This lightweight magnesium lotion packs a powerful punch and delivers most of the benefits of magnesium but topically! Enjoy the dreamy scent of organic lavender essential oil as you enjoy an Epsom salt bath in a lotion. Made with therapeutic grade magnesium chloride from pristine Dutch seabeds, this potent lotion contains enough magnesium to make a noticeable difference, yet is gentle enough for sensitive skin due to a lack of itching and burning that pure magnesium oils/sprays and other lotions can cause.

Super soothers allantoin (an anti-itch ingredient made from the comfrey plant), organic helichrysum hydrosol water and organic calendula extract further ensure comfort and decreased sensitivity from the magnesium, and high-powered ginger extract boosts the circulation of the skin, ensuring the magnesium is delivered to more areas that need it most. Natural and organic humectants glycerin, pentylene glycol, and propanediol 1,3 draw water into the skin, boosting hydration and moisture levels while organic sunflower oil, black currant oil, squalane, and mango butter smooth the outer layers of the skin, providing relief from dry skin. The natural emollient and silicone alternative hemisqualane, combined with natural humectant pentylene glycol, impart a unique and luxurious sensorial feel and texture similar to silicone without compromising on natural ingredients. *To see a video of the magnesium lotion's texture look for our next post!*

This lotion has been ph-balanced with the amino acid l-arginine to a slightly acidic ph of 5.3, which is incredibly close to the skin’s natural ph of 5.5. Ph is only applicable to water-containing products, and since annyhydrous products (100% oil based) do not contain water, ph balancing need not apply. Most lotions and moisturizers should fall within the 5-6.5 ph range (depending on use/application), and B Natural Blends is proud to ph-balance our products naturally and accurately!

For those who are sensitive to essential oils for any reason, such as those with extremely sensitive skin or sense of smell, pregnant/nursing mama’s, babies, etc., B Natural Blends has an “ultra-sensitive” line that omits the essential oils from the product. Due to the lavender essential oil being diluted to .5% of the formula, both the standard and ultra-sensitive magnesium lotions are suitable for ages 3 months and up, and the ultra-sensitive magnesium lotion includes extra organic calendula extract to help soothe the skin to make up for the lack of lavender essential oil.

As a cosmetic company I cannot legally make claims about what skin or medical conditions my products are good for. However, my customers would be happy to let you know that this magnesium lotion is great for MANY things that include cosmetic and therapeutic benefits, such as aches and pains, restless legs, insomnia, sore muscles and more! Of course, this magnesium lotion is not intended to treat or cure any medical conditions legally speaking.

Magnesium lotions tend to have a naturally mattifying feel and are thinner with a bit of a different texture than most other lotions due to the nature of the magnesium brine, and this one is no exception, although for its texture it does surprisingly feel fairly moisturizing with a minimal “soaping” effect (a slightly white cast that can appear on the skin due to the natural waxes in lotions) that quickly fades as the product is massaged into the skin. Although the lotion is thin, it does absorb rapidly into the skin, leaving no greasiness or tackiness behind, and once rubbed in feels no different than most other lotions. A little goes a long way, and it is suggested to start with ½ to 1 teaspoon of lotion per day until relief is found. A 4 ounce bottle typically lasts 2-3 months of daily use for an adult and even longer for babies and small children (although results and needs vary). It can take up to two to three weeks of daily use in order to start seeing relief, so patience is a virtue, and unfortunately not everyone sees benefits from magnesium lotions (although a good amount of people do) so we will not be able to process refunds.

NOTE: Some separation is normal, just give the product a good shaking before each use! Some discoloration is also normal as products are handcrafted in small batches. The lavender essential oil in this product has been diluted to .5% of the formula, making it suitable for anyone 3 months of age and older. Due to the magnesium it is recommended to apply this product shortly before bedtime. Most customers apply this product to the feet and calves.

Formerly known as lotion bars, B Natural Blends is proud to introduce you post-makeover to the "Smooth Sailing Body Butter Bars"!

These delightfully smooth body butter bars are both a unique and fun spin on your traditional body butter AND are effective at smoothing and calming the driest, most chapped, irritated skin. These body butter bars come in a cool tin for convenient storage and to protect bars from drying out too quickly.

Made with a mighty blend of carrier oils such as sacha inchi and sea buckthorn oil, hardy tamanu, mango and jojoba butter, skin-calming extracts like oat, aloe, and calendula, and an impressive line-up of essential oils such as carrot seed, tea tree, frankincense, and turmeric, the B Natural Blends body butter bars are super-packed with power! The standard body butter bars are green in color (as pictured) due to the tamanu butter and blue tansy essential oil.

For those who are sensitive to essential oils (such as pregnant/nursing mamas, young children and babies, those with ultra sensitive skin or hypersensitivity to smells etc.), B Natural Blends has an “ultra-sensitive” line that omits the essential oils from the product. To make up for the lack of essential oils, the ultra-sensitive body butter bars include extra organic borage oil and a few herb substitutes (dragon fruit and orchid extracts are substituted for extra oat, aloe and buckthorn extracts) to help soothe the skin. Ultra-sensitive body butter bars are suitable for children and babies over 3 months old.

The ultra-sensitive bars are yellow in color (as pictured) compared to the green standard bars (also pictured). B Natural Blends body butter bars come in 3 shapes and carefully weighed sizes: a 1 ounce “bee” for $7 in standard and ultra-sensitive, a 1.5 ounce “beehive” for $9 (standard and ultra-sensitive), and a 2 ounce “honeycomb” for $11 (standard and ultra-sensitive). Prices include the storage tin.

Due to health problems and the need to simplify, B Natural Blends will now only be regularly offering 3 shapes, "bee", "beehive" and "honeycomb" (as pictured). But not to worry! Special shapes will be offered monthly (for the month of June it will be succulents!) so keep an eye out for your favorite shape at the beginning of every month! Introducing the new and improved "Princess Passion" soap!

Now with a bit of a new design and a new scent consisting of organic pink grapefruit (instead of petitgrain) geranium and ylang ylang essential oils, this soap should be a step up from it's original as the design looks like taffy, and the scent is more fruity/sweetly floral than before! This Bastile soap is still gentle, and still colored with oxide/ultramarine minerals and made with organic shea butter, olive oil, and castor oil!

Because our soaps are so gentle, it's tradeoff is that this makes a softer soap. To make sure the soap gets hard enough to last a reasonable time in your shower or bath, we cure our soaps for 2-3 months instead of 4-6 weeks!
