I spent the morning breaking rocks. Feels like I’ve been doing that forever, since the days of pulverizing pebbles at the playground. It felt good today, found a bit more of a groove.

The mighty leister spear. This one caught a couple of fish on this trip, and scared a lion fish to within an inch of its life.

Iguana berries. Tasty treats.

One of the coolest wildlife moments ever. Today at the beach, Gelsey found a turtle nest where the babies recently hatched and trundled to the ocean. She went to investigate, and found one baby leatherback on its back, dying. She ran it down to the ocean, and after we took a couple obligatory photos, it perked right up and launched into the water. These giants are incredible, and it has been a dream of ours to see one.
