Create a piece of Positive Affirmation Art. πŸ’›πŸŽ¨

Take a few minutes to reflect:
What do you need to hear today?

Choose an affirmation that feel supportive, empowering, or comforting. They can be words you already believe or words you're still growing into. Feel free to add more than one affirmation!

Some ideas:
✨ I am enough.
✨ My feelings matter.
✨ I can do hard things.
✨ I deserve kindness.
✨ I am growing every day.
✨ I am worthy of love and belonging.

Now, create artwork inspired by those affirmations. You might:
🎨 Paint the words in vibrant colors.
🌸 Surround them with symbols, patterns, or images that represent hope.
βœ‚οΈ Make a collage from magazines.
πŸ–οΈ Fill the page with doodles, textures, and colors that make you feel calm, strong, or joyful.

There is no "right" way to do this. Let your artwork become a visual reminder of the encouragement you want to carry with you.

πŸ’ Reflection:
β€’ Which affirmation felt most meaningful to include?
β€’ Was it easy or difficult to believe these words?
β€’ Where can you display your artwork so you'll see it when you need the reminder?

Remember: Art doesn't have to be perfect to be powerful. ❀️

β€œFor the first time, I actually feel proud of who I am becoming.” πŸ’›

This is why we do this work.

So many young people carry shame, self-doubt, and the belief that they are β€œtoo much,” β€œnot enough,” or beyond help. Through creativity, connection, and a safe therapeutic relationship, we get to witness youth begin to see themselves differently.

Not as a problem to fix.
But as a person worthy of care, growth, expression, and pride.

Art therapy is not just about making art. It’s about helping young people reconnect with themselves, recognize their strengths, and imagine new possibilities for who they can become.

We are endlessly grateful to witness that process every day. 🎨
