I have seen these DampRid and other moisture extractor/absorbers cause more issues than not. Full on fuzzy MOLD within days. Please educate yourself on these items and NEVER EVER make an assumption that they will remove enough humidity from an area of your home, especially when you are NOT home! Use your A/C as it was intended and let it do it's job! IF you have moisture absorbers and your A/C goes out.... you're in for some big issues! If you haven't yet, research the time and cost it takes for MOLD remediation.
