Protect What Matters - Supplemental Insurance Products

United Insurance Partners (UIP), a CSEA-approved benefit provider, offers members a wide range of insurance products to meet their needs. From life insurance to dental insurance to discount vision plans, UIP offers CSEA members and their families the A, B, C and D's of insurance products and services. CSEA provides supplemental insurance products for those members who may not have these insurances through their employer. UIP's program is exclusively available to active CSEA members and their families.

Members can make a claim, make a payment, or obtain policy information by calling UIP at (833) 426-2732 or using the inquiry form on their website at: www.CSEABenefits.com.

A) Accidental Death & Dismemberment
As a CSEA member, active or retired, you are automatically covered with $5,000 of Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance coverage at no cost to you. There is no need to activate this coverage; members are automatically enrolled when they sign the application to join CSEA. You are covered as long as you remain a member in good standing.
*Higher limits up to $300,000 are available.

B) Better Term Life and Hospital Indemnity Insurance
Term Life Insurance: With limits up to $300,000, our Term Life plan can help provide the financial security your family needs (Members must enroll prior to turning 65).

Hospital Indemnity Insurance: Because most medical plans, particularly high deductible plans, do not cover all expenses, CSEA members can protect themselves from the financial strain of unexpected out-of-pocket expenses with Hospital Indemnity insurance (Members must enroll prior to turning 65).

C) Critical Illness Insurance
Critical illness can be physically and financially overwhelming. Having a financial cushion can help you focus on getting back on track without the worry of finding extra cash to cover those expenses. Critical illness provides that much needed financial cushion (Members must enroll prior to turning 65).

D) Dental Plans and Discount Vision
Dental PPO and HMO Plans: CSEA Dental Insurance Plans offer broader coverage with low out-of-pocket costs when choosing participating dentists. CSEA active and retired members, their spouse/domestic partners, and dependent children age 26 and under are eligible for coverage.

Discount Vision: Active and retired CSEA members and their families can enjoy the benefits of membership with our discount vision plans though VSP (Vision Services Plan). With discounted rates below what non-members would otherwise pay, CSEA members can choose from thousands of participating doctors, and take advantage of discounts for exams, contact lenses, frames, and more.
