If you drive Hwy 90 or any Beach road while it's windy, I suggest you change your vehicles air filter or blow the sand out of it. Cabin air filter, if equipped should also be checked/changed.

We are currently working with the gate closed to limit exposure and amount of work. Dan and Arleen are working without help at this time for the same reasons. Please be patient with us while we figure out the best way forward. If you are/were a past customer, call and leave a message with your name, phone number and briefly state the type of work your vehicle needs. We cannot accept new customers at this time, but will accept a customer's new/different vehicle. Please understand that we just can't accommodate all of our current customers at this point so it wouldn't be fair to accept a new one! If you are a past customer, don't hesitate to leave a message

I was reminded today it's that time of year...have your anti-freeze checked. Is the vehicle you depend on ready for freezing temps? Also temperature changes like this cause weak batteries to demand attention.

Should have posted sooner. If you drove through flood water, get your vehicle checked out. Water can be pushed/sucked up into the air filter and a wet filter will cause problems, if not now definitely later. We have seen water in engine and differential, even transmission. Also you may need all your lights checked for water inside and the electrical connections should be cleaned, dried, and greased if needed. If not dealt with, these will give you serious problems later

This is why it is important to change oil and filter using recommended weight oil! Many newer vehicles now use variable valve timing for better fuel economy and emissions, but can make your vehicle run bad when this system is not working correctly!
