Ok, December. Very bittersweet since at the end of Thanksgiving week I made the very difficult decision to move back home to California. For a little over two weeks as I packed, shipped, and donated I went around the city to take in as much of the holiday atmosphere as I could. Saw my favorite decor, went to the official Bloomingdales display opening, tried a few viral treats and ate at some places I had hoped to try but never got around to all this time. So glad that I finally did before I said one last goodbye early the morning or the 16th as I lugged my entire set of suitcases down to the Uber and out to the bag check for half of them at JFK. As much as I hated to have to leave, I’m actually glad to be back home for a while. With all the drastic changes I made this year and the rough patches that came with them, now was probably the best time for me to reassess what is best for me and my family who have done nothing but support me and make way too many sacrifices to do so. We all need this break from New York for now- maybe once I have what I need to really be independent again, that story will start again.
For now, I’m glad to be right here.

2024- now a 3 part recap!
•spent a millisecond on CBS Sunday Morning in May!
•a bittersweet start to June as we said our last goodbyes to our sweet boy Hunter, only a month away from his 15th birthday 🤍😢
•went to the Tony Awards! Viewing part just outside of the theatre where we watched it all in real time! Very close races in all categories this year 🏆✨
•Had the S*x and the City reboot film on site at my job with Signature Theatre! Didn’t see any of the girls, but saw two husbands!
•Went to Playbills Pride celebration in Times Square with a huge sing and dance along! ❤️🏳️‍🌈
•for the first time since living in NYC I went out on July 4th to watch the fireworks 🎇 🇺🇸
•flew out for a much needed vacation with the family to Lake Tahoe ☀️ really missed it more than I thought I did.
•Went on a huge cooking spree- made everything from pizza to garlic bread and soup and desserts! 👩‍🍳
•oh just happened to run into Tara Strong and Kathleen Herles on my way home through the Theatre District! You may know them as Bubbles the Powerpuff Girl and Dora the Explorer! 🙌🏼✨
•always go to the memorial fountains on September 11th and leave flowers. 🌹 Two days later marked my 3rd official year as a resident of New York City.

Hope I just need one more post to finish the year out!

If I hadn't been able to start my AADA journey on their Los Angeles campus, there is no way I'd be here in New York right now. This school gave me new passion and confidence in myself as an actor that I hadn't before. More generations to come need a place like AADA to make those discoveries within themselves.
