Yellow Devil Gear Exchange

Friends, I am happy and sad to share this news…there's a song in my heart and a lump in my throat. After nearly four and a half wonderful years of being your friend, neighbor, fellow rider, and -- oh, yeah -- salesperson, it's time to close the doors here at Yellow Devil.

As some of you know, I've been seeing someone who lives on the east coast for nearly a year now. We've decided it's high time to start a life together, and as I'm originally from the Northeast, I'm looking forward to going home. So I'm headed for Rhode Island at the end of April (I skipped the snow, ha!).

Our final blow-out sale will be April 11 & 12, 11 am - 6 pm. Many of our consignors have donated their items, and their portion of sales (60%) will be given to the Dream Foundation charity. I thought it would be a nice way to wrap things up while doing some good for others in the process. We have 200 items and counting, and this stuff will be cheap! I'm glad to have one last chance to give you a great deal on gently used gear.

I honestly can't thank you enough for all your friendship and support over the years. For making me laugh, for giving me encouragement, for celebrating milestones with me, for fixing my broken window, for helping me create a welcoming environment for all riders in the store. And especially for consigning and buying gear from me, without which this place wouldn't have existed! Most of all, thank you for proving that what comes from the heart, goes to the heart.

Because of you, Yellow Devil has been much more than a business. It's been a family…and I will miss you.

We've got a customer whose 7-year-old son is doing his first road race this weekend (with M1GP (M1-GrandPrix), and he needs help finding decent gear. They're cobbling together some MX apparel and armor to protect him, but they'd prefer leathers. Does anyone have any kid-sized street gear they don't need anymore, or know of a place to get it (at a reasonable price)? The son is 50" tall and average build.
