Had to take this course due to a violation on my “Class A” license for testing positive for THC. It has restricted me from driving an 18 wheeler for a few months now. I have not smoked any herb, nor ingested it in any way since June 18th, 2023, which is a total of 93 days. I had to hire a “Substance Abuse Professional” (SAP) as well, costing me approximately $370…and that doesn’t include the cost for the “return to duty” drug test that I still must to take soon.
I feel this system is so unfair and backwards. According to federal law it’s okay to drink alcohol of duty, which I don’t drink mind you, but I can’t smoke a little herb due to it being a Schedule 1 drug “😐🙄
