Well, Hello December!!

Just ten more days until Modica’s and Atomic Basement’s Holiday Bizarre Bazaar!

Here are some of the wonderful things you can check out and purchase for a loved one! Saturday, December 10 from 12-6:00!

Friendly reminder!! Orsa, owner of family restaurant Modica’s and I have cooked up an evening full of exciting sights and sounds and flavors! I am not exaggerating when I say it literally is a THREE RING CIRCUS!!

First, from 5:30 to 6:30, Intergalactic Space Queen ARTHERIA (as portrayed by Mia Bunn) will be taking a short break from her space hopping adventures to pose for any artist that wants to participate in our Drink N Draw! Show up early because she has to leave for the Nebula System strictly by 6:30!

Next, delight to the critically acclaimed sounds of flamenco virtuoso ASHUN! This guy is so great that Eddie Van Halen used to hire him for his house parties and special events!

“Did somebody say Van Halen?” Sez Rafael Navarro! “Well, hell, Chief, I best start packing my bags so I can see y’all there! This just in! Raf will have a table and selling his latest and greatest Sonambulo 25th Anniversary Hardcover, and, if I know him, probably taking commissions as well!

Those are the Three Rings of the Circus! But, sniff, sniff! What smells so good? Aromas of garlic, tomatoes, melting butter, cheese and boiling pasta! That’s gotta be the work of those magical alchemists in the kitchen making every dish with love and care!

Oh, and before I forget, little old me will be there too with my Atomic Basement Pop Up Shoppe with hundreds of comics to choose from!

Showtime is 5-9 at 455 E. Ocean Blvd on the corner of Ocean and Linden. Parking is metered but pretty affordable. See you there!!!
