A reminder that accidents can happen in the blink of an eye. 💔🐾

This sweet little guy was having a playful moment in his kennel when one of his tiny toes became trapped between the kennel wires. Our staff immediately rushed to help, but in his panic he pulled with all his might, resulting in a traumatic injury that tore the toe.

Thankfully, he was in the best hands. ❤️

Dr. Spears performed surgery to amputate the damaged toe, and as you can see from this photo (taken on the ride back) he’s already looking so much brighter. The surgical repair is absolutely incredible. We couldn’t be more grateful for the compassionate veterinary care that helped get this little fighter back on the road to recovery.
