‼️ LA County is spending $416 MILLION PER YEAR to incarcerate kids via Juvenile Probation

‼️ LA County Board of Supervisors approved $118 MILLION to re-open Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall to keep kids in cages

‼️ Newer, nicer facilities don’t keep kids safe. It’s not the structures that are harming youth, it’s probation leadership and staff

‼️ The Board of State and Community Corrections ordered Barry J. Nidorf and Central Juvenile Halls to be CLOSED by July 23, 2023 due to deadly, dangerous conditions
