ISC POLB POLA
Tomorrow night at Lions Automobilia — and we are ready. 🚗🎶

👉 Please RSVP if you haven't: [link]
We are $8,000 short of our $50,000 goal. If you can't join us in person, a non-attending sponsorship or contribution means the world — and still puts your name alongside the extraordinary community that showed up for ISC's seafarers this year.

🌿 Spring Fling 2026 is one month away — and we're on a mission.
Our goal: $50,000 to support the services we provide to 6,400+ seafarers each year at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
These are the people behind the global supply chain — spending months at sea, far from their families. When they dock, ISC is there: van transportation, SIM cards and wifi so they can call home, crisis support, and a space where they feel like human beings and not just crew.

Earlier this week we were honored to welcome Councilmember Tim McOsker for a site visit at Our Center. Joined by LA Harbor Commissioner Lee Williams and POLA’s Deputy Executive Director, Stakeholder Engagement David Libatique we toured together our facilities and held an insightful round table discussion on paths forward for the sustainability of The Center. We’re looking forward to the positive work ahead of us and our great partnership!
Our seafarers were on hand coming from the union halls to answer questions and tell their stories and experiences at Our Center.
Together with them our great drivers Pat and Sosa shared their many stories too with our respected guests.
Board members Capt. Jay Dwyer of LA Port Pilots and Laurie Mirman of Site Services helped with this great visit. The Center’s leadership, Chairman of the Board Guy Fox, President & CEO Capt. Dick McKenna and Executive Administrator Mona Telega led the tour and productive discussion.
When they weren’t busy speaking with out esteemed guests, the seafarers helped with the photography.
We are grateful to them, Mr. McOsker and Aksel Palacios in his office, Commissioner Williams and Mr. Libatique and Port of Los Angeles for supporting our efforts to sustain the well-being of this unseen sea-workforce that powers our thriving local economy. We’re looking forward to the great work ahead of us and our partnership with our two ports.
