How To Organize My Garage

Today I worked with M & R on organizing their 2-car garage in Torrance. They already had lots of empty open cabinets in their garage. Their first goal was to have enough space to park their plug in van in the garage so that they could charge it overnight.

We took everything on the floor out and sorted the items into 2 piles: keep and give/throw away. After that we began putting items into their cabinets and in the end there was enough room for their van!

I’m excited to share some before and after photos from one of my very first garage organizing projects. This one took place in Riverside, California, at the Jordan residence. The Jordans wanted to focus on their storage shelving, so we worked on organizing and reducing the items in that area. This opened up space for other items to be stored there, which you can see allowed for the entire garage to have more space in the end. They were really happy with the end result!
