Not saying that these things are bad in of themselves. I’m involved in all of it. They can be a help.

However, I’m just saying that maybe sometimes they can be a bigger distraction than help. Or, even dangerous, if we’re trying to manipulate some kind of feeling, experience, or response.

We’ll always do well to stick to the basics of what has worked for 2,000 years.
