Cache County Fair and Rodeo Open Horse Shows

Thank you to all of our friends and family. We couldn’t put on this Horse show without everybody’s help and we are so so appreciative of our amazing contestants! Thank you for a great fair weekend 🙂 congratulations to our youth, all-around winners in their age divisions, and our adult winners in today’s show. See you guys in 363 days!!

We could use a little bit more help for the horse show for Friday and Saturday, we’re looking for anyone willing to donate a couple of hours to help with barrels that would include timing and Raking and then also as a ring Stewart for our trail course on Friday and Sunday from about 8:30 till noon each day …. anybody interested in volunteering? 🙂 I’ll even feed you lunch…

A few updates for our 5 to 8-year-old age category on the Friday show, since we have a walk trot class available for the five-year-old that counts as points for the all-around five-8 year old award, we have also made the decision that loping is not required in a reining pattern or trail. They will not be docked for for trotting instead of loping. If they want to lope, they are welcome to, that is parenting child discretion. 🤩🤩

I can’t believe we’re less than two weeks away from our Cache County Fair and Rodeo open horse show 🙂 Friday is the youth show starting at 7:30 a.m. and Saturday with our adult show at 7:30 a.m.
over the years we have innovated and maximized our resources for time and for fun for our contestants. We have a pretty good system for the show and look forward to your continued suggestions. We hope you enjoy your day of showing and having fun!!

Remember, we have a High Point all-around buckle for our adult class. That’s for any adult registered in as many classes as you can get registered for and earn points in 🙂 we also have Sr. Horse and Jr. horse classes. For our youth we have contestant age category buckles.

You can register up till 9p.m. the night before the show to do all around and for our halter and showmanship classes, after 9p.m., those classes are closed, all around is closed, but you can still register for other classes for the horse show with a late fee, same day up to 2 classes prior.
