Hi my name is Jordyn Olsen!

I am the new Manager here at the Early Education Program. I have been working with Children for over 6 Years. I've been a nanny for the last 3 years and was Head teacher at another daycare for a year.
I love working with your children and helping them reach milestones.

When I'm not working, Im spending time with family or I am on the sideline photographing a football game.

Im so excited to meet and get to know all the parents and children!

Week 5 of introducing our new teachers!

Hi guys! My name is Lizzy Hamson. I grew up in Tremonton, and graduated from Bear River High School. I’m currently working on a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Utah State University. I’m so excited to be working at the Early Education Program! I love working with kids and helping them learn and grow. Teaching has always been my passion, and I’m excited to be able to work with the kids here.

Week 4 of meeting our incredible teachers!

Hi friends!
My name is Jaci Holmes and I am a 19 year old student at USU! I'm currently studying to get my Bachelor's in Elementary Education. I've grown up moving around every couple years and I'm so excited to call Logan, Utah my home for the next few years. Because we moved around a lot, I'm super close with my immediate and extended family. I grew up being excited to babysit my younger sibling and cousins; I guess you could say all that carried over into picking my current career path. I love working with kids and getting to see how each individual child learns new things. There's nothing better than seeing a new skill click with a child's development!

Week 3 of introducing our new teachers!

Hello parents, I am TyLynn Hansen and am the A.M. Preschool teacher for all your kiddos! I have always lived in Logan and am a single mom to an amazing little boy! Outside of educating your little students I love hang out with my sweet son, to go on walks with my wonderful family and dog, and spend quality time outside doing things such as camping! Overall I am a big fan of just being with family. After spending a few years educating my son and the children in my family, I felt that this job was the best opportunity for me to continue to educate while helping other children across logan receive a quality education! I love this job and am so thankful to spend every weekday with your fabulous kids!

Hi Friends!
As March comes to a close, we are taking the week to teach all your sweet kids more about emotions and how to express them as well as how to respect others emotions. To kick off the week we had a circle time about happiness and how making others happy can help make us happy! After that, the kids made gifts for all the moms to help their moms feel happier!

Such a great lesson and our little students are already loving this week!

Week 2 of teacher introductions!
Hi parents!
My name is Sierra, I am the lead PM preschool teacher. In high school I took an early childhood class that lead to to working in the school preschool, that’s when I first fell in love with working with kids. Conveniently after my sister had kids and I’ve loved watching them grow up and become so smart, I previously lived in Lehi Utah and worked at a daycare for a year and a half. I moved up to Logan to go to USU in the summer to peruse a degree in teaching. I love teaching and I look forward to teaching all your kiddos new things!

Good afternoon, Parents! Every Wednesday for the next few weeks, we have decided to introduce you all to our new staff of incredible teachers. Please enjoy getting to know our staff:)

Hello, my name is Kelci cardinal and I am in charge of introducing our staff! I figured it’d be best to introduce my self first. I am a new teacher and caretaker here at Early Education but I have been working with children for about 4 years now. Starting in caretaking and then moving into tutoring and education! I am so thrilled to work here and spend quality time with all your wonderful kiddos. When I am not at the daycare, I am attending classes at USU for my Accounting Major, spending quality time with my sorority sisters, painting, or enjoying any piece of theatre I can get my hands on. I come from a whole line of teachers and am so glad to be teaching such a bright and playful group of kids! As my mom always says, Every day is a great day to be Five!

Sometimes we have to look past the behavior, in order to see the child. 💕

2020 was a rocky road for everyone! In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we used this opportunity to remodel and restructure our preschool program! We've spent hours researching a preschool curriculum that will benefit not only our 4-5 year old preschoolers who are preparing to enter kindergarten, but also to prepare our toddlers who continue to learn among their peers. We are excited to be incorporating the Mother Goose Program into our curriculum, starting Monday, February 1st!
