Deaf educators with LSL experience are needed to work as classroom teachers, early interventionists, and itinerant teachers in private and school settings. This includes parent coaching and working closely with families of children with hearing loss and their caretakers in their homes. I knew I wanted to work with children in small groups and individually. As a Deaf Educator with LSL experience, I do a lot of individualized therapy sessions focusing on my student’s specific needs and get to guide them in group settings as they learn to play, talk and socialize with peers their own age. ⠀
